Crime Partners of Polio Infected Children in Pakistan

 

Some facts regarding polio virus: 

● Disease caused by polio virus is termed as Poliomyelitis which can be transmitted from one individual to another

children. It

mostly infects the children under 5.

● Its virus invades nerves system causing the child get paralyzed within
few hours.
● 1/100 paralyzed cases are perpatual & can never be cured.
● Since 1988, world has been declared 99% polio free.
● Pakistan is one of those 3 countries which where Polio is still endemic.
● It is incurable. Polio Vaccination drops are the only preventive measure.

reasons behind why our land is still polluted with polio virus are not something ordinary. They are quite odd in nature. It's all a plot of masterminds instituted against our children. A crime against our kid's health & the crime partners are no other than the parents themselves. This is how I consider it a crime because in later life children alone have to face the consequences. But parents are not alone. They're just the crime partners playing their role unintentionally, as their major fault is that they're not educated & couseled enough & they don't trust the people they should. Their minds have rather been moulded by the wrong potters.

November 2014, about 10,000 parents refused to vaccinate their children in Balochistan during Polio eradicating compaign. In the same month, an approximate number of 12000 parents in KPK followed this culture & got highly aggressive when Polio Vaccination teams knocked their doors. The next month, December 07, 2014, 1600 cases of refusals from the parents were counted alone in Karachi. Recently in Lahore, a lady polio worker was badly beaten by a family when she insisted them to get their children have drops. This doesn't end here. We'll be going through this in future as well if such families aren't counseled properly who continue to say 'No to Polio drops' and in return, their children's whole life gets all ruined.
Pakistan as 1 of only 3 countries in the world where Polio is still an endemic disease, has some red colored history of Polio Eradicating Teams being attacked since 2012. It's actually a retaliatory act of extremists in NWFP since 2012 to answer US drone attacks. A remarkable number of Polio workers have lost their lives & hundreds of them got badly injured during this lethal retaliation. Pakistanis in all this scenario have become a drum beaten from the both sides. Behind these attacks are  some militant groups including TTP, whose major misconception about Polio Vaccination (besides an answer to America) is that it is Haram as it contains Trypsin (substance found in pork) & causes infertility (immunity against child birth). They consider this compaign a propaganda of West & WHO against our children. The masterminds of crime against our kid's future. Although it's medicaly certified that this Polio Vaccination bears no such side effects & since OPV (Oral Polio Vaccine) is ready to use thing, so it is Halal. But still we're the persons who reject it just because we think America & all our land enemies are behind this compaign as only Muslim countries are still left invaded with Poliomyelitis & since West has done enough to pump Muslim countries, we've a right to think so . Religiously, Jamia Asharfia, a non political pro Islamic organization in Pakistan founded in 1947, gave fatwa & issued certificate that these Polio drops are Halal for the Muslims. 160 Muslim scholars also gave fatwa for it that it is utter Halal. As Polio Vaccine is the only preventive measure for Polio & there's no cure when an innocent gets infected by it, so it can be administered until Muslim scientists produce this vaccine without the use of Trypsin, said by the Ulemaz.
But still 200+ cases have been notified since January 2014, killing attacks are continued & parents are still resisting against Polio drops. Their main point of view is, when they don't want their child have it, it's against the law to force them to have the drops & that why is our government so worried about polio only, why not about other diseases. If they don't want it, don't have it & face the consequences for the rest of the life. But no, we can't think that way. We have to sort out the solutions & apply them.

Another partner of this crime are those sitting in administration & managing to control it in all over Pakistan who have failed to achieve this goal by their mismanagement. Firstly, by not checking the quality of the vaccination & not taking care of it either. They don't care if vaccination is expired or not. 2ndly, Polio workers are so under paid that they can even hardly meet their transport expenses. So they don't bother enough to do their jobs with responsibility. 3rdly, by not providing enough education to the workers & counseling to the visitors & parents. Finally, no provision of the security to the Polio team who put their life at risk to go to administer polio drops from door to door. There seems no co-ordination between security personals and Polio administration.
All these are the crime partners of destroying the whole life of those children infected with Wild Polio Virus Type1 (WPV1) & 10% irreversible paralysis cases in WILD Polio Virus Type 2 (WPV2). What's those innocents' fault? Haven't they right to live a life like a normal healthy child who can run, walk & move freely? Just think how they'd feel looking at other healthy children playing & running without any support of crutches or wheel chairs. Let's just take a moment to ponder upon that how one's whole life would be without Allah's one of the major blessings. We all have to play our part to pick it out from the pockets of Pakistan. Media has to play its role by showing audio visual less melodramatic contents to spread awareness for polio vaccine. Enough is enough now. Our administration has to be responsible & be afraid of Allah for they've to meet Allah only at the end.
Meets this person below Bilal Khan having Poliomyelitis, an active polio worker, who has to use a pair of crutches to approach parents by moving from door to door & teach them the importance of polio drops. Who else knows the grandness of OPV more than him as an infected person himself.

Let's be grateful to Allah for this healthy & complete life & learn something from Ibrar Khan, who doesn't have it, but still is working for all of us.
